Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), formerly known as Arunachal University, is the oldest and only Central University of Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 1984, the university is located at Rono Hills, Doimukh, near Itanagar. The campus spreads over nearly 302 acres and offers multidisciplinary education in Science, Technology, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Education, Management, and Social Sciences.
