FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP POLICY ACADEMIC SESSION 2019-2020 DIT University always encourages scholarly aptitude and merit in Students. In order to facilitate Scholarship among Students towards their Academic excellence, following Scholarships are awarded by the University to Meritorious students. (A)- Merit Based Scholarship Policy Master of Business Administration CAT Percentile MAT Composite Score XAT Percentile Merit Scholarship (% Waiver in Tuition Fee) 90 and above 750 & above 90 and above 75% of 1st year tuition fee 80 & <90 700 & <750 80 & <90 50% of 1st year tuition fee 70 & <80 650 & <700 70 & <80 25% of 1st year tuition fee --- 600 & <650 --- 10% of 1st year tuition fee Graduation 80% and above --- 50% of 1st year tuition fee 70% to <80 % --- 30% of 1st year tuition fee 60% to <70 % --- 20% of 1 st year tuition fee A student is eligible for any one category in Merit Scholarship and he/she may choose highest of CAT, MAT, XAT & Graduation categories. (B)-Uttarakhand State Scholarship Policy 26% scholarship on Tuition & Development fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand for whom 40% seats are reserved throughout the program. For claiming Uttarakhand State Scholarship, student will be considered eligible ONLY if he/she is carrying a valid Domicile Certificate in Original at the time of reporting for Counselling/Admission. (C)-Additional Scholarships for New Admissions (applicable only for first year) a) Scholarship of 5% of Tuition fees is applicable for the siblings of present students/Alumnus on submission of following documents: - University ID Card and Aadhaar / Any valid photo ID proof of the siblings bearing the name of the parent - Copy of the Degree Certificate issued to the sibling by DIT / DITU (if applicable) Page 2 of 2 DITUNIVERSITY.EDU.IN Rules for Scholarships: a) In case any candidate falls in category (A) & (B) the candidate may choose higher of the two options of Scholarship in the year of admission. b) If the student belongs to Uttarakhand category and is entitled for higher scholarship from category (A) in year of admission (Refer point “a” above), he/she will continue to be eligible for UK domicile rebate for rest of the tenure of the program. c) Scholarship Category (C) is over and above scholarship of Category (A) or (B), as applicable. d) The students who are eligible for the scholarship/s under Category (C) as per the norms specified by the University should address their application to the Registrar with relevant documents for consideration latest by 31st August 2019. e) Total of all scholarships are subject to maximum limit of applicable Tuition fees for the year. f) Scores/Marks/Grades/Ranks as required for award of scholarship should be without any Back/Improvement/Supplementary papers. g) In case, at any later stage, any discrepancy in the document/s or awarding of scholarship/s in appropriate category is found, DIT University has right to make necessary correction/s at any stage including recovery of amount of such scholarship. h) In case of any dispute/discrepancy/clarification final decision of the Vice Chancellor would be abiding. i) All disputes are subject to Dehradun jurisdiction
