What is CMAT?

CMAT or the Common Management Admission Test is an entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses in over 1000 B-schools across India. The exam is conducted in online mode and the duration of the exam is three hours and the CMAT question paper consists of 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. CMAT 2020 is scheduled for January 28 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

 

CMAT 2020: Test Cities and Exam Centres

CMAT 2020 will be held at multiple centres in about 75 cities of India. The aspirants can choose from the list of cities, up to four locations as per their preference to take the exam. The option to choose a city of one's choice will be given to each candidate at the time of filling up the CMAT 2020 application form. Each aspirant can choose four cities as their preferred test city.

 

CMAT Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the CMAT 2020 must prepare well for not only the exam but also the exam day. Here are some points that you must keep in mind for the exam day:

Don’t forget to carry a print out of your CMAT 2020 admit card. Digital, scanned or photocopy of the admit card is not acceptable as valid document

Reach your CMAT exam centre 2 hours before the reporting time

Do not carry electronic items to the exam venue. You are also advised to not carry valuable items

Along with CMAT 2019 admit card, carry a photo ID as a secondary identity proof. You can carry any of the following documents as your ID proof:

Aadhar card

PAN card

Voter ID card

Passport

Driver’s license

College/University ID card
