All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna (AIIMS Patna) is a premier medical institute established by the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The institute was established in 2012 to improve healthcare services and medical education in eastern India.

AIIMS Patna is recognized as an Institute of National Importance and functions under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in medicine, nursing and allied health sciences.
