CEED 2026 (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to postgraduate design programs (M.Des and PhD in Design) at IITs and other participating institutes.
CEED evaluates candidates’ design aptitude, creativity, visual perception, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. It is one of the top exams for students aiming to pursue advanced design education in India.

📝 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree of minimum 3 years (after 10+2)
- Final year students are also eligible
- No age limit
- No limit on number of attempts

CEED consists of two parts:
Part A (Computer-Based Test):
- Numerical Answer Type (NAT)
- Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Part B (Offline – Drawing & Design):
- Sketching
- Design problem-solving

- Total: 3 Hours

- Part A is computer-evaluated
- Part B is evaluated manually
