Aliah University, New Town is a state government university established in 2008 under the Government of West Bengal. The university is located in Action Area II, New Town, Kolkata and is one of the major minority-serving universities in Eastern India. The university operates under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal.
