About College/University

Birsa Munda Tribal University was established in 2017 by the Government of Gujarat to strengthen higher education in tribal-dominated regions of the state. Named after tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda, the university focuses on inclusive education, social development and regional upliftment.

BMTU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in arts, science, commerce, management, law, education and social sciences. With affordable fees and a growing academic ecosystem, it is emerging as a key government university in South & Central Gujarat.
