Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) is a premier National Law University located in Patna, Bihar. The university was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar with the objective of providing quality legal education and promoting legal research.

CNLU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in law including BA LL.B (Hons), LL.M and PhD.
