Gondwana University (GU), Gadchiroli is a state government university established in 2011–12 after bifurcation from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The university serves Gadchiroli and Chandrapur regions of Maharashtra and has hundreds of affiliated colleges under its jurisdiction.
