Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) is a central university located in Srinagar, Uttarakhand. The university was established in 1973 and later became a Central University in 2009 under the Government of India.

The university is named after Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna, a prominent Indian politician and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
