Industrial Design Centre (IDC) – IIT Bombay is one of India’s most prestigious design schools and a part of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). It is officially known as the IDC School of Design.

Established in 1969, IDC is recognized for excellence in industrial design, communication design, animation, interaction design, mobility & vehicle design, and design research.

The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and dual-degree programs in design with strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, problem-solving, research, and industry collaboration.

Located inside the IIT Bombay Powai campus, IDC provides advanced studios, workshops, material labs, UX labs, animation labs, and collaborative innovation spaces for students.
