Isabella Thoburn College, commonly known as IT College, is one of the oldest women’s colleges in India. It was established in 1870 by American missionary Isabella Thoburn in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The college is affiliated with the University of Lucknow for most academic programs, while professional courses such as engineering and management are affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

IT College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, science, commerce, education, management and engineering disciplines. The institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade for its academic standards.

The campus is located on Acharya Narendra Dev Marg in Lucknow and includes libraries, laboratories, hostels, auditoriums and sports facilities
