Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda was established in 2015 by the Government of Punjab to promote technical, management and professional education in the Malwa region of Punjab.

The university offers a wide range of UG, PG, diploma and doctoral programs in engineering, management, sciences, commerce, pharmacy and architecture, and affiliates multiple colleges across the region.
