Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU) is a state government university located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The university was established in 1975 and later renamed in 1997 in honor of social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.

The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with NAAC A++ grade. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in fields such as engineering, science, commerce, management, law, pharmacy and education.

The MJPRU campus is located on Pilibhit Bypass Road in Bareilly and covers more than 200 acres of land. The university has a large academic network with hundreds of affiliated colleges across districts like Bareilly, Budaun, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Amroha and Bijnor.
