About College/University

Parul University is a multidisciplinary private university located in Vadodara, Gujarat. It was established in 2015 and has developed into a large higher-education ecosystem covering engineering, management, medicine, pharmacy, law, architecture, design, agriculture, IT, commerce, nursing, allied healthcare, liberal arts and several other disciplines.

The university currently offers more than 200 programmes across 21 faculties, ranging from diploma and undergraduate programmes to postgraduate, doctoral, dual-degree, pathway and industry-embedded programmes.

Parul University received NAAC A++ accreditation with a CGPA of 3.55 in its first assessment cycle and has UGC Category 1 status with graded autonomy. It is also recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Government of Gujarat.

In NIRF 2025, Parul University was placed in the 101–150 band among universities, ranked 41st in Pharmacy and among the top 50 institutions in Innovation. It also entered the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 in the 1001–1100 band.

The university has a large residential campus with academic buildings, laboratories, hospitals, hostels, sports facilities, libraries, food courts, research facilities, student activity spaces and international student infrastructure.

Engineering & Technology: B.Tech programmes are offered in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, AI & Data Science, AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Electronics & Communication, VLSI, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Automobile, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Biomedical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics & Automation, Petroleum Engineering, Mathematics & Computing, Quantum Computing in AI and other emerging areas. M.Tech programmes cover areas including AI & Data Science, Computer Engineering, CSE Cyber Security, Aerospace, Automation & Robotics, Biomedical, CAD/CAM, Chemical, Construction Project Management, Food Technology, IT, Material, Mechatronics, Structural and Transportation Engineering.

Management: BBA, BBA Hons, Integrated BBA-MBA and MBA programmes are available with specialisations including Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Finance, Financial Management, Healthcare Management, HR, International Business, Logistics & Supply Chain, Marketing, Technology Management, Business Analytics, FinTech, Pharmaceutical Management, Project Management, Tourism & Event Management, Operations and Entrepreneurship. Industry-embedded MBA programmes are also offered in association with organisations such as KPMG, SAP and OM Logistics.

IT & Computer Science: BCA, BCA Hons, Industry Embedded BCA Hons, B.Sc IT, B.Sc Hons IT, Industry Embedded B.Sc Hons IT and MCA are offered. Industry-embedded programmes include collaborations involving SAP, Microsoft, Quick Heal and Oracle.

Science & Applied Sciences: B.Sc and B.Sc Hons programmes are available in areas such as Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Chemistry, Genetics, Physics and other applied science disciplines. B.Sc Medical Biotechnology is also offered as a four-year pre-medical programme for eligible NEET-qualified students.

Pharmacy & Healthcare: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, nursing, physiotherapy, medical, allied healthcare, public health and other healthcare programmes are offered through the relevant faculties and constituent institutes.

Law: LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM programmes are offered.

Architecture & Design: B.Arch, B.Des and M.Des programmes are available in relevant architecture, design and creative disciplines.

Commerce & Liberal Arts: B.Com, M.Com, BA and MA programmes cover commerce, economics, English, history, sociology, political science, psychology, journalism and mass communication and other humanities disciplines.

Agriculture: B.Sc Hons Agriculture and M.Sc Agriculture specialisations including Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Entomology, Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Extension are offered.

Hotel Management, Aviation, Fine Arts & Performing Arts: Programmes are offered in hotel management and catering technology, aviation management, fine arts, performing arts and related creative and service-sector disciplines.

Doctoral Programmes: PhD programmes are available across multiple faculties and research areas.

Course Eligibility

B.Tech: Generally requires Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and the required additional subject, with minimum marks as prescribed for the selected programme.

BBA/BBA Hons: Class 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

MBA: A recognised 3-year undergraduate degree or a 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant/allied discipline with minimum 50% marks, or 45% for reserved categories, subject to applicable norms.

BCA/BCA Hons: Class 12 or equivalent qualification with the required subjects as prescribed for the programme.

B.Sc: Class 12 with Science stream for science-based programmes. Certain specialised programmes have additional requirements.

B.Pharm: Class 12 with the required Science subjects and eligibility prescribed by the applicable regulatory authority.

MBBS/Medical Programmes: NEET qualification and applicable regulatory eligibility.

Law: Class 12 for integrated law programmes and graduation for three-year LLB, subject to applicable eligibility rules.

PG Programmes: Relevant bachelor's degree with the prescribed marks and subject requirements.

PhD: Relevant postgraduate qualification and university-prescribed research/admission requirements.

The latest reported highest package is ₹60 LPA, associated with Microsoft early-placement outcomes for B.Tech CSE students. A ₹43 LPA package was also reported for a B.Tech CSE student at a US-based multinational company.
