Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur is one of the oldest and largest government universities in Chhattisgarh. Established in 1964, the university is named after Pt. Ravishankar Shukla, the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. PRSU serves as a major center for higher education and research in central India.

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate and doctoral programmes across Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Management, Education and Technology disciplines. PRSU has more than 150 affiliated colleges and multiple university teaching departments (UTDs).

PRSU is known for affordable government education, research activities, pharmacy education, law studies and large academic infrastructure. The university recently received NAAC A+ accreditation, which is its highest accreditation achievement till date.
