Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is one of the oldest universities in central India, established in 1923. Formerly known as Nagpur University, it was renamed in honour of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj, a renowned saint, social reformer and freedom fighter.
