Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSBUTU) is a state government technical university located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

The university was originally established in 2005 as Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) to promote technical education in the state. In 2023, the university was renamed in honor of Veer Madho Singh Bhandari, a historic military leader of Uttarakhand.

The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and regulates technical and professional education across Uttarakhand through its affiliated colleges.

VMSBUTU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture and computer applications.
